Hi everyone! I’m Robyn and I’m a serial entrepreneur, of sorts.

My hubby & I on top of the world in Prague

I’ve been a creator since I was a kid, always writing stories and thinking of ways to launch the next big thing. I’m still writing stories and thinking up big ideas – although these days I make them happen. Right now, I’m laser-focused on scaling my company, Pretzel Kids yoga.

It’s been a bit of an interesting road – but that’s life, right?

I started my career as a  journalist with publications like the Los Angeles Times and Investor’s Business Daily (IBD).

An unplanned detour while on a travel writing assignment in China led me to a meditation teacher. (Want to know the full story? I got seriously ill in China – the scariest time of my life. I was eventually diagnosed with a neurological disorder that left me bedridden with two young kids for almost two years). In any case, sorry to digress. That meditation teacher turned out to be a bigwig who wrote a book with the Dalai Lama. At that time of my life I had no idea what meditation was, let alone the Dalai Lama!

My inspirations (now adult sons!)

In any case, I learned pranayama (breathwork) at a time when I would do anything to recover. Upon the advice of my sorta famous teacher, I began to practice yoga and lo and behold, three years later, I became a yoga teacher and opened Breathe Joy Yoga in suburban Boston. Before long, BJY was a thriving yoga studio offering classes, workshops, retreats and a 200-hour yoga teacher training program.

After a successful 12-year run, I sold the yoga center. I took the kids yoga and mindfulness program I ran at my studio and launched Pretzel Kids yoga. Quickly becoming the nation’s go-to kids yoga and mindfulness company, Pretzel Kids offers a fast-track teacher certification course, kids yoga classes, and a branded licensing program.

As if that’s not enough to keep me busy…..I’m also a writer and editor, crowd-funding expert at iFundWomen, and a yoga & meditation teacher.

In my spare time, I search for flea market finds for my 100+ year-old farmhouse in Boston, pretend I know how to cook, take photos of faraway lands, meditate for at least 5 minutes a day, and hang out with my 3 sons, 2 dogs and 1 husband.

Let’s work together and rock this thing. I promise you: You’ll be impressed.
